Our legendary Treasurer since 1986, Bill Henderson took the decision to walk away from his spreadsheets and retire, after serving the Local Association with such steadfastness over many years. EIS colleagues past and present joined him at the Bridge of Cally Hotel on Friday 29th October in celebration and thanks.
Bill's dry wit was as sharp as ever and those present enjoyed the speech given by Colin Mackie, Past President and Local Association Secretary(1991-2007), which perfectly captured Bill's character and history with the Local Association. Appreciation was very much a theme that his colleagues roundly cheered. We wish Bill every enjoyment in his retiral.
